Meet the Directors
Tom James
Tom joined Omega after graduating from Newcastle University in 2002. He was promoted to Director in 2007.
Tom acquired the practice with James Harman in 2018 and is now looking to build on the principles and values established by the founding partners.
Tom has a proven track record of delivering high quality developments with an emphasis on place making. Key schemes in his portfolio include: Queen Marys Place, Roehampton; Frythe Park, Welwyn and Highwood, Horsham.
James Harman
James has over 20 years of experience in the residential sector and has successfully managed projects from design inception to completion of construction. He has extensive experience of many varied schemes ranging from single dwellings to large masterplans in both urban and rural locations.
Prior to joining Omega in 2014, James held positions at associate level at JTP, a central London design practice, and also at partner level within David Wood Architects, a specialist working drawing practice.
James’ notable successes since joining Omega include the design of Hartland Village, Fleet at masterplan and detail level; the masterplan and detail design of a new neighbourhood for West Stevenage; the urban renewal of Alton Brewery, and numerous sensitive rural developments such as Farmstead at Tannersbrook.
Associate Directors
Sue Dennison
Sue has over 25 years of management and financial experience working within the building industry both overseas and in the UK.
She joined the Omega team in 2000 as an Accounts/Office Manager and appointed Associate Director in 2014 and in 2018 appointed Company Secretary.
Antonio Di Pierro
Joined Omega in 2006 after studying Architecture and Urbanism in Argentina.
Antonio previously worked at a Landscape and Urban Design practice, and has successfully managed projects from individual dwellings to Masterplanning.
Mark Powell
Mark Joined Omega in 2006 after studying Architectural Technology at Southampton Institute.
Mark has run multiple jobs varying in size from small residential schemes to larger mixed use developments, whilst also being responsible for managing the company’s IT. Appointed as Associate Director in 2016.
